An accomplished ball-handler capable of fielding, controlling and shielding the ball, Connor has the physical presence, strength and speed to police the midfield on defense, but also the vision, work-rate and touch to deliver quality balls to the attacking wing or center forward. His change of pace, adept touch, and ability to see the play unfold allows him to to deliver through-balls and change-of-field crosses in behind the opposition defence. He has a solid foot and can be counted on to deliver from the PK spot, and supply superb free kicks, bending the ball around the wall when required. With a solid heading ability and great "ups", he is an asset in front of the goal on the corner kick, both offensively and defensively. |
